The prices of gold and silver in the country are falling for the second consecutive day. Gold and silver prices have also come down in the futures market. In the last two days, in the capital Delhi, 24 carat gold per 10 grams has become cheaper by Rs 1,320, while the price of 22 carat gold has decreased by Rs 1,210. Talking about today, a further decrease of Rs 10 per 10 grams has been recorded in both the categories.
The price of silver also continues to fall. After remaining stable for one day, its prices have decreased for the second consecutive day. Silver has become cheaper by Rs 7,100 per kg in two days. On February 17, the price of silver in Delhi is Rs 2,67,900 per kg. Today its price has decreased by Rs 100. Prices are almost the same in other big cities also. Silver is being sold at this rate in Mumbai and Kolkata, whereas in Chennai its price is Rs 2,64,900 per kg. That means Chennai has the lowest price among the four major metros.
