Gold and silver prices today: Why Gold and silver rates declined

New Delhi: The prices of both gold and silver declined in the Indian retail market on November 4, 2205, Tuesday. According to the rates released after 9 am, 24-carat gold has become cheaper by Rs 530 to Rs 121230 per 10 grams, while silver is availabel at Rs 790 to Rs 147180 per kilogram. Pressure is being seen in both domestic and international markets.

Today the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 1,21,230 per 10 grams and the price of 22 karat gold is Rs 1,11,128 per 10 grams. The price of 1 kg of gold has reached Rs 12123000. At the same time, the price of 1 ton of gold has been recorded at Rs 141400. This fall in the price of gold has come due to weak demand in the domestic market and the softening of international prices.

Silver prices decline

Silver prices continued to decline today. 999 fine silver reached Rs 147520 per kilogram, while the price of 925 sterling silver was Rs 136456 per kilogram. The price of 1 ton of silver has been recorded at Rs 1721. This decrease shows a decline of about 0.5 percent compared to the previous session.

Gold and silver trend on MCX

On the Multi Commodity Exchange i.e. MCX, gold is trading at Rs 120894 per 10 grams, which is a decline of 0.42 percent. At the same time, the price of silver is Rs 147050 per kg, which has gone down by 0.48 percent. Both metals witnessed a slight sell-off in the morning session.

The US market Comex also witnessed pressure in precious metals. The price of gold has come down to $4003 per ounce and the rate of silver has come down to $47.66 per ounce. This represents a decline of 0.27 and 0.82 percent respectively. The strengthening of the dollar in global markets and the rise in bond yields have affected gold and silver.
