Migrant labourers, daily wage laborers and students in India have got a lot of relief from a decision of the Modi government. Under this decision, they can now buy and refill small 5 kg LPG cylinders using only Aadhaar card, for which they will not need any local address proof. The move is aimed at ensuring easy access to cooking gas for those who do not have any proof of permanent residence; Users have welcomed this initiative.
