Popular television drama Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is set to go off-air in early July due to declining TRPs. Despite implementing a time leap and introducing a new set of lead characters, the updated storyline did not resonate with the audience.
Show struggles despite major changes
Rumours had been circulating for some time regarding the show being under review due to low viewership. In an attempt to rekindle interest, the creators revamped the narrative by bringing in new leads. However, even after reintroducing Bhavika Sharma as Savi in a final effort to enhance ratings, the show did not experience significant improvement.
According to Telly Express, the final episode was filmed on Sunday, June 29. The show is anticipated to air its concluding episodes in the first week of July. Interestingly, the storyline is reported to conclude with Savi (Bhavika) and Neil (Param Singh) parting ways amicably, rather than as a romantic couple.
Bhavika-Param share final day moments
Confirming the wrap-up, both Bhavika and Param took to their Instagram stories. Bhavika shared a mirror selfie with the caption, “Definitely going to miss Savi,” along with a video in her police avatar stating, “Last day.”
Param, who made his TV comeback with GHKKPM, also posted a video from the final day, simply writing, “Last day #backsoon.”

Hitesh Bhardwaj re-approached for GHKKPM
Recently, reports emerged that Hitesh Bhardwaj was contacted again by the makers after his previous exit from the show. In an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, Hitesh discussed the situation, stating, “It’s not about regret. That show is very close to my heart. It would’ve been nice if it had worked out, but I’m happy with where I am and the work I’m doing. Shows like GHKKPM and Udaariyaan have helped shape my career, and I’ll always be grateful for them.”

Following a significant leap, the cast transitioned to Bhavika Sharma, Shakti Arora, and Hitesh Bhardwaj. In January 2024, yet another reboot introduced Vaibhavi Hankare, Param Singh, and Sanam Johar as the new leads. Unfortunately, the latest revamp did not manage to retain viewer interest, resulting in the show’s eventual conclusion.
