How to get trapped?
The fraudsters cheated Rs 11.45 lakh from an 85 -year -old man searching for the bride. According to the police, he transferred Rs 11,45,350 to several bank accounts between April 18 and June 1. Actually, after seeing the advertisement for marriage, he contacted that number, then he was given a bank account number, on which he was asked to pay the registration fee. When he paid it, after that he informed him about a woman and said that he would be his bride.
Woman made contact
After this, the woman approached the young man and the conversation started between the two. The conversation of both of them started getting so much that the young man was completely confident of the woman and then the woman asked her for money and promised to marry. During this time, the woman continued to ask for the help of money from her and sent these money to different accounts. When the person used to talk about marriage while giving money, the woman used to avoid. When he felt that the woman was cheating on him, he informed the police about it.
As soon as the matter came to know about the case, the police of Bibwewadi police station on Friday registered an FIR under Section 319 (2), 318 (4) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections of the Information Technology (IT) Act. After which it was found that the young man has become a victim of forgery.
