Param Singh has recently completed filming for Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, which is set to go off-air this month. The actor took on a leading role in the Star Plus series alongside Bhavika Sharma.
In an exclusive interview with Zoom/Telly Talk India, Param Singh discussed recovering Rs 15 lakh in dues from a producer of one of his earlier shows. He referred to himself as a ‘dangerous boy’.

Many actors today express concerns about producers failing to pay their dues after completing their projects. While some manage to receive their payments, others are still waiting for their remuneration. Param Singh stands out as an exception. He knows how to reclaim his money.
When asked if he had ever encountered such a situation, Param Singh replied, “It has happened with me. I was doing one show. I can’t take the name. After the show, the producer didn’t give me my final pay cheque. Main bahut khatarnak ladka hoon (I am a very dangerous boy). I went to the producer and asked for my money. He was asking me to give him a discount on my salary. I told him that I have worked hard for the show, and it also worked well. So you have to clear my dues. I got my Rs 15 lakh after a month, but many actors still haven’t gotten their dues.”

According to Param Singh, many actors remain fearful of being banned if they request their payments. He stated, “Other actors must be scared of getting banned. Why do you want to work with such producers who are not ready to give you money? There are a lot of good people in the industry. I think there is an insecurity and fear amongst them. You have given your 100 per cent. Then, why are you scared to demand your money? It is a very unfortunate thing. Ek toh paiso ki cycle bhi 3 mahine baad aati hai. Uske baad kabhi cycle badha dete hai aur baad mein bolte hai fund nahi hai. It is very unfortunate.”
