Woman gets husband killed by his own cousin
Meanwhile, in an unrelated incident reported three weeks ago, a 28-year-old man, Shahnawaz, was brutally stabbed and shot dead in what police say was a plot allegedly hatched by his wife and her lover, who is also the victim’s cousin.
Shahnawaz was riding to his brother-in-law’s wedding on his motorcycle with his wife, Maifreen, when four unidentified men on two separate bikes intercepted them. According to officials, the assailants attacked Shahnawaz with sticks before stabbing him multiple times. One of the men then allegedly pulled out a pistol and shot him, after which the attackers fled the scene.
Shahnawaz was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Hospital authorities reported three severe knife wounds on his hand, chest, and neck.
