In Ghaziabad, a 4 year old girl was strangled to death after being raped. His body was found under a car. Police have registered a case under POCSO Act against absconding uncle Jamil and started investigation.
A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, which has shocked the entire area. The body of a 4-year-old girl was found under a parked car on the night of April 11 in Shalimar Garden area here. Police said that they received information at around 8 pm that the girl’s body was lying under a vehicle on 80 Foot Road. The patrol team immediately reached the spot and recovered the body of the girl hidden under the car.

When the police started the investigation, the needle of suspicion went straight to a person who was known to the girl. According to the police, the accused is the girl’s uncle Jameel alias Chhotu. He lives about a kilometer away from the girl’s house. According to the complaint, the girl was alone at home at the time of the incident. It is alleged that taking advantage of this, Jamil seduced her and took her to his room.

Trying to hide crime and dead body
Hours after the girl was last seen, her body was found under a parked car. Police believe that the accused did this to hide his crime and avoid suspicion. Investigators are now trying to find out how the entire incident happened and how the body was brought to the roadside.
Rape confirmed in postmortem
The postmortem report has confirmed that the girl was raped before her death and then strangulated to death. Police said injury marks were found on the girl’s neck and private parts, which point to a violent attack. A senior officer told news agency Press Trust India that the results of the investigation clearly point towards rape, murder and then an attempt to hide the body.
The family demanded justice
The girl’s family is deeply shocked by this incident. They have alleged that Jamil’s past has also not been good and have demanded his immediate arrest. There is a lot of anger in the area regarding this incident. Local people and family members gathered and protested. Some relatives have demanded strictest action against the accused.
Police action and search continues
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act. Several teams have been formed to nab the accused, who is currently absconding. Continuous raids are being conducted in the surrounding areas. Officials have assured that the investigation is ongoing and the accused will be arrested soon.
