Ghaziabad and Agra Shine in 17th Master Vaibhav T20 Tournament

In an exciting match, Ghaziabad Cricket Association successfully chased down MDCA Meerut Red’s total with 22 balls remaining.

Meanwhile, DCAA Cricket Association Agra secured a convincing 73-run victory against Muzaffarnagar Cricket Association in two lopsided encounters during the 17th Master Vaibhav T20 tournament. MDCA Meerut Red batted first, managing to score only 146 runs before being bowled out in 19.3 overs. Vishvendar Chaudhary contributed a quick 34 runs off 18 deliveries, while Satyam Sangu added 31 runs. However, consistent wickets fell, preventing a stronger total, with Prince Yadav, Ayush Chaudhary, and Nishant Thakur each claiming two wickets.

Ghaziabad faced early challenges, losing two wickets quickly. However, Prince Yadav and Shantanu Singh formed a solid partnership, leading the team to victory. Yadav remained unbeaten with 74 runs off 44 balls, while Singh supported him with 51 not out off 31 balls, guiding Ghaziabad to a total of 147 for 2 in just 16.2 overs.

Agra Claims a Commanding Victory

Agra set the tone by batting first and scoring 189 runs before being all out in 20 overs. Lakshya Rathor provided a quick start with 28 runs off 15 balls, while Mayank Tiwari anchored the innings with a solid 52 runs off 32 balls, supported by Jatin Chauhan’s contribution of 32 runs.

Muzaffarnagar’s response faltered from the beginning. Although Himesh Krishna managed a brisk 53 runs off 22 balls, the rest of the batting lineup struggled, leading to their dismissal for just 116 runs in 16.4 overs.
