Girls addicted to online gaming, family objected: Police

According to the police, the 3 sisters were addicted to online gaming. They used to play some games on an app in the mobile phone. Their family however was against them playing the games. They tried to reason with the girls, regarding their addiction to online gaming. However, the girls refused to listen to them.

The parents often stopped the girls from playing the game. The police think this might have been the trigger for them to kill themselves. The girls got addicted to the online ‘Korean Love Game’ during the 2020 pandemic and the ensuing lockdown, said the family members. Th police said that the girls were also not attending school regularly.

The girls were all minors, while the eldest of them was 16 years old, the other 2 were 14 and 12-years-old respectively Police are investigating the matter and the statements of their family members will be recorded.

Girls were very close to each other, say family members

The girls used to live in Flat number, 907 of B 1 tower in Bharat City. Reports said that they were very close to each other. They reportedly were seen together all the time, be it playtime or school hours. They used to do every activity, including their everyday chores together, said neighbours.
