Rules for keeping a temple in the house: There is a temple in every house, where God is worshipped. The temple spreads auspicious energy in the house. By having a fixed temple or place of worship, all the problems automatically go away from home. Financial prosperity is maintained by worshiping in the home temple. The temple in the house should be in the north-east corner. Once the place of worship is decided, it should not be changed. The color of the place of worship should be kept light yellow or white. If the temple is in a flat, then only sunlight should be taken care of. Conch shell, Gomti Chakra and a vessel filled with water must be kept at the place of worship.
Both the times should be worshiped in the temple at the same time. A lamp must be lit in the temple during evening puja. The temple should always be kept clean and tidy. The door of the temple should not be kept closed.
Do not keep these things in the temple of your home
Pictures of ancestors should not be placed in the home temple. A temple is only a place of worship. Keeping pictures of ancestors in the temple can increase poverty and financial problems at home. Such pictures or idols of God which are broken or torn should not be kept in the temple. Flowers offered in puja in the temple should not be kept after they have dried. The photo of any living saint or religious leader should not be kept in the home temple.
