Donald Trump Speech at Israeli Parliament: There was a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas on the basis of the Gaza peace deal presented by US President Donald Trump. Hamas freed all 20 surviving Israeli hostages. After this Trump gave a speech in the Israeli Parliament. During this time, he had to stop his speech due to protests.
Addressing the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, Trump said that the Gaza peace agreement has been realized. Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners have been released. With this the two year old war has ended. Trump was giving a speech when two leftist MPs Ayman Odeh and Ofer Kasif protested against him. Both raised slogans and displayed posters demanding recognition of Palestine. Due to this he was forcefully thrown out of the Parliament.

After the two lawmakers were thrown out, the Knesset speaker told Trump, “Sorry about this.” The American President was watching the commotion. He was not bothered by the interruption in the middle of his speech. “It was very effective,” Trump said as he resumed his speech after protesting lawmakers were escorted out of the chamber. Hearing this, the MPs present in the Parliament applauded.

During his speech in Parliament, Trump said that today is the historic dawn of the new Middle East. This is not only the end of a war, but the end of an era of terror and death and the beginning of an era of faith, hope and God.

Referring to Israelis held captive by Hamas militants, he said 20 courageous hostages are returning to be reunited with their families after two years of horrific darkness. He praised Benjamin Netanyahu for realizing the Gaza peace agreement.
