Tejasvi Singh Dahiya: Now Gautam Gambhir’s ‘Gurubhai’ has also been entered in BCCI’s T20 league through the auction held for IPL 2026. Name is Tejashwi Singh Dahiya and age is 23 years. Gambhir’s ‘Gurubhai’ bought by KKR
Tejashwi Singh Dahiya is a wicketkeeper batsman and he was bought by KKR in the auction. KKR is the same franchise which Gautam Gambhir has made IPL champion in both the roles of captain and mentor. KKR has spent Rs 3 crore on Delhi’s right-handed wicketkeeper batsman. Tejasvi Dahiya is very happy after traveling from a base price of Rs 30 lakh to Rs 3 crore. He also said in an interview that it was difficult for him to digest this news. Even his parents could not believe it.
What does Tejashwi want to do after joining KKR?
After joining KKR, Tejasvi Dahiya has only one wish. He wants to do the same work for the KKR franchise, which Gautam Gambhir has done. Regarding the mindset of Tejashwi Dahiya, his coach Sanjay Bhardwaj said that he is a very attacking player. When I saw him play for the first time, I felt that I had hit a diamond. Hit 29 sixes in Delhi T20 League
Before entering IPL, Tejasvi Dahiya has earned name in Delhi Premier League. In the Delhi T20 League, he has scored 339 runs at a strike rate of more than 190, hitting 29 sixes. Dahiya likes to hit sixes like Sehwag. Whereas he follows Dhoni in keeping. It is expected that through this combination of batting and keeping, Tejasvi Dahiya will be seen creating his own identity if he gets a chance in IPL 2026.
