Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir is often seen responding to his critics on social media. Recently, he posted his picture with Shashi Tharoor and wrote a long message, but now Gambhir has been asked to maintain distance from social media. Former Indian captain Ajinkya Rahane has made this request to Gautam Gambhir. Rahane said that the Indian head coach should stay away from social media till the end of T20 World Cup 2026.

They should not think too much about what people are saying about them. He has played amazing cricket throughout his career, he is now the head coach which is a big job. I personally believe that they should stay away from all these things, I also used to do the same. One should stay away from social media and focus on T20 World Cup. Let us tell you that T20 World Cup will start from 7th February.
Gambhir gets criticized
If Team India loses a Test or ODI series, they are heavily criticized. Recently, after the crushing defeat in the ODI series against New Zealand, there was rhetoric against Gambhir, after which he made a post on X. However, under the coaching of Gautam Gambhir, Team India is performing amazingly in the T20 format. Team India has won three consecutive matches in the T20 series against New Zealand. Now it seems that it will be difficult to defeat this team in the T20 World Cup.
