Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad get new DMs, several top officers transferred in bureaucratic reshuffle

Noida: Gautam Buddha Nagar has got a news district magistrate – Medha Roopam after a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh. Several top officers were transferred in the reshuffle. On Monday, the state government issued the transfer orders of 23 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. This includes district magistrates (DMs) of Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddh Nagar, and Prayagraj, and a few others.

A 2014 batch IAS officer, Medha Roopam, is the new District Magistrate (DM) of Gautam Buddha Nagar district (Noida). Before her, the office was held by IAS officer Manish Kumar Verma who has now been transferred to Prayagraj as the DM. Roopam is considered to be a trusted officer of UP CM Yogi Adityanath. She was also a national level competitive shooter before joining as an IAS officer.

Ravindra Kumar Mandar is new Ghaziabad DM

A 2012 batch IAS officer, Ravindra Kumar Mandar, has been appointed as the new Ghaziabad district magistrate. Before taking charge of the Ghaziabad office, Mandar was appointed as the DM of Prayagraj. Before Prayagraj, he was appointed as the DM of Jaunpur. As the DM of Prayagraj, he was entrusted with managing major events in the city, including the Prayagraj Kumbh.
