Actress Gauahar Khan has shared a heartfelt birthday wish for her husband, Zaid Darbar, praying for a wonderful year and an amazing life ahead as he celebrates his birthday on Saturday.
The ‘Bigg Boss 7’ contestant marked the occasion on social media by sharing a picture of Zaid holding their two sons, Zehaan and Farwaan, in his arms. She covered the children’s faces with red heart emojis.
“Praying for the bestest year and the most amazing life always! Happiest birthday abba,” Gauahar wrote, accompanying the message with birthday-themed emojis.
The couple, who grew close during the COVID-19 lockdown, tied the knot in a traditional nikah ceremony on December 25, 2020. They welcomed their first son, Zehaan, on May 10, 2023, followed by their second son, Farwaan, on September 1, 2025.
Gauahar has previously spoken about how unexpectedly she found love with Zaid. Appearing on the celebrity talk show ‘Rashami Ke Dil Se Dil Tak’, hosted by actress Rashami Desai, she recalled that she had become reluctant to pursue relationships before meeting him.
“I was completely averse to men. I was like, ‘I don’t want to meet men, they are all commitment phobic. They all want to run away,’” she said, explaining that she had been ready to be vulnerable in a relationship but felt many men were not.
The actress said she eventually left the matter to God, praying that she would meet a good man if a relationship was meant for her.
She recalled that she and Zaid crossed paths about a month after that prayer, adding that he was the one who messaged her first.
Gauahar’s birthday message offers another glimpse into the couple’s family life as they celebrate the special occasion together.
