A tooth of Ganesha is broken, due to which he is called “Ekadant”. There are many mythological stories about this, two of which are main:- According to a legend, Parashurama ji broke his tooth. At the same time, according to the second story, Ganesh ji broke his teeth and gave Ved Vyas ji to write Mahabharata.
