Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion across the country. Devotees bring the idol of Lord Ganpati Bappa. For 10 days, they offer prayers with law. Large pandals are installed in many places. Where devotees from far and wide reach for darshan. Family members and all the people of the society together perform puja and kirtan for 10 days daily. The atmosphere becomes devotional during the morning and evening aarti.
Every morning and evening, Bappa is offered various delicious sweets and dishes. Most things are made at home. According to beliefs, Bappa is very dear to Laddu. That is why the devotee Bappa definitely enjoys Laddu. But you can make many types of laddus in place of gram flour to offer Lord Ganesha.
Makhana laddu
To make this laddus, put ghee in a pan and heat it. Add the makhana and fry it. After this, take it out in a separate plate of Makhana. Then add some more ghee in the same pan and fry the chopped dry fruits till it becomes light golden. Put 1/4 cup of water in a pan and add jaggery to it. Let the jaggery melt completely on low flame. When the foam starts coming, turn off the heat. Now add ground makhana, roasted dry fruits, cardamom powder and mix in a bowl. Now add sugar syrup slowly to it and mix it well with the help of a spoon. When it cools down slightly, give the shape of laddus.
Moong dal laddu
To make it, first of all, wash the yellow moong dal and dry it and fry it on light flame. After this, grind the lentils in the grinder. Now add ghee in a pan, add moong dal powder and nuts and fry it. You can also make sugar or sugar syrup in this paste. After cooling, make laddus with this paste.
Semolina laddus
To make these laddus, first of all, heat ghee in a pan, add semolina to it and cook till it becomes golden. Now add coconut and sugar to it. Add some milk and mix it. When the mixture cools down slightly, make laddus from it.
Coconut Laddu
You can make coconut laddus. For this, first of all take a dry coconut and grate it. Now heat ghee in a pan. Add coconut and fry it for 2 to 3 minutes. Add milk and mix it on low heat. Add sugar to it and mix it well. After this, you can also add milk powder. Now turn off the gas. After cooling, shape this paste as a laddu.
