Ganesh Chaturthi 2025: Jai Madaan’s graceful farewell to Bappa captures hearts

New Delhi: The three-day soulful and sustainable Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Dr Jai Madaan’s Jor Bagh residence came to a beautiful conclusion on the evening of August 29 with an eco-friendly Ganesh Visarjan. The festival, spread across Ganesh Sthapna, Pujan, and Visarjan, blended devotion, heritage, and inclusivity while championing sustainability and compassion.

Unlike traditional immersions that pollute rivers and lakes, Dr Jai Madaan promoted eco-friendly visarjan practices within controlled environments, preserving nature while honouring sacred traditions.

The highlight of the finale was the unique décor crafted entirely from fruits and vegetables such as coconuts, pumpkins, dragon fruits, bananas, gourds, and corn, which, after the visarjan, was cut, prepared, and transformed into a Fruit Salad distributed among underprivileged children and the needy. What began as divine decoration became nourishment, spreading both joy and sustenance. Speaking on the occasion,

Dr Jai Madaan said, “This three-day journey with Lord Ganesha reminded us that true devotion lies not just in worship but also in giving back. By turning the décor into food for those in need, we celebrated Ganesha’s blessings through service and compassion.” Guests, media professionals, and cultural storytellers joined the festivities, which also included soulful rituals, community prayers, and thoughtfully curated gifts from Siddhhi Arts as tokens of gratitude.

This specially curated Ganesh Chaturthi celebration stood out as more than a festival; it became a cultural expression of devotion, sustainability, and inclusivity, setting an inspiring example of how India’s most cherished traditions can be celebrated with consciousness and care.
