Gadchiroli truck accident: A painful accident occurred in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district on Thursday morning which shook the entire state. Six minor boys had gone on a morning walk, but a high speed truck destroyed everything. Four children died and two were seriously injured in the accident. The accident occurred on the Gadchiroli-Porla main road when the truck went out uncontrollably and trampled the children. Eyewitnesses say the truck suddenly came and entered a group of children directly. The driver did not stop, and escaped from the scene including the car.

  2. Tinku Namdev Bhayer (14)
  3. Dushyant Duryodhana Meshram (15)
  4. Tushar Raju Marwate (14) -Breed during treatment

The seriously injured Aditya Kohpare (14) and Kshitij Meshram (13) have been airlifted Nagpur, where they are undergoing treatment. The condition of both is said to be worrisome.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis mourned the incident and announced an ex -gratia amount of ₹ 4 lakh to the families of the deceased. Along with this, arrangements were made to send Nagpur by air ambulance at government expense for the treatment of seriously injured. The CM said, “This is a very sad and unfortunate accident. The state government is with bereaved families and the injured will be given all possible help.”

Now the question is when will the truck driver be caught?

This accident is not only an accident, but a sign of the failure of the administrative and traffic system. Was there no one to stop this truck coming at a high speed? Has morning walks become so insecure?
