G2: Adivi Sesh’s friend hypes up the film after watching rough cut

Adivi Sesh has been going through a challenging phase, with some of his projects facing long delays while others have failed to make an impact at the box office. His recent release, “Dacoit”, also failed both commercially and critically.

Sesh is now hoping to bounce back with “G2”, the sequel to his successful spy thriller “Goodachari”. The film has been in production for a long time and has now completed around 70 percent of its shooting.

Interestingly, actor-filmmaker and Sesh’s close friend Rahul Ravindran recently watched a rough edit of the portions shot so far and was impressed by what he saw. Taking to social media, Rahul said the film would blow audiences’ minds with its visuals and twists.

Rahul also revealed that he usually watches Sesh’s films only after around 90 percent of the production is complete. However, he got an opportunity to see “G2” at the 70 percent stage this time and was apparently impressed by the footage.

“G2” is mounted on a larger scale than its predecessor and is expected to expand the world of “Goodachari”. Wamiqa Gabbi is playing the female lead, while Emraan Hashmi is portraying the main antagonist.

With the film still having a significant portion of its shoot left, Rahul’s early reaction has added some positive buzz around “G2”. The makers are yet to announce the release date.
