A day in Bollywood world does not end without a new update in the Ranveer Singh and Don 3 row, which now involves a lot of other parties including FWICE, CINTAA and several celebrities. After Kangana Ranaut recently defended Ranveer and suggested that opposition often comes with success, chief advisor Ashoke Pandit has now responded sharply, accusing people of commenting on the issue without understanding the facts. Pandit insisted that the federation’s actions are being widely misunderstood, adding that FWICE’s concerns are not directed at Ranveer personally but at a larger issue involving professional commitments and accountability.

Speaking to HT City, Ashoke Pandit addressed the growing number of reactions from industry members regarding the ongoing dispute involving and Don 3. The filmmaker and trade body representative also took direct aim at Kangana’s remarks, claiming that she was speaking without knowing the details of the matter. “Kangana also said that even I have been banned by the industry. I said, ‘You talk nonsense, that’s why I banned you.’ I don’t care. There is a big issue of the industry here. You don’t even know the issue. You are just saying things, ” he stated. Ashoke added that FWICE is ‘not against Ranveer.’ Pandit clarified that FWICE’s position should not be interpreted as a personal attack on the actor.
What Kangana Said In Support Of Ranveer Singh
Pandit’s comments came in response to remarks Kangana Ranaut made during the trailer launch of her upcoming film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata. When asked about the non-cooperation directive issued against Ranveer Singh, Kangana compared the situation to her own experiences in the industry. “You are asking me, I have been banned by everybody!” she said.

The actress went on to suggest that growing success naturally attracts criticism and opposition. “Aaj Ranveer Singh ko sochna chahiye ki unki kya haisiyat hai ki unke itne dushman hain,” she remarked. Kangana also encouraged Ranveer to remain positive and view obstacles as part of professional growth. Referring to her own journey, she said that despite facing numerous challenges and industry roadblocks, she eventually overcame them and continued to thrive.
The ongoing dispute stems from Ranveer Singh’s departure from Don 3. According to FWICE, producer-director Farhan Akhtar approached the federation with concerns that the actor’s exit had resulted in substantial financial losses after extensive pre-production work had already been completed. Following the complaint, FWICE issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh. However, the federation has repeatedly stressed that the move should not be viewed as a ban. AS of June 3, FWICE has dropped its non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh after the actor sent a legal notice.
