The year 2025 started with a horrific live-in murder case in Delhi. After killing Nikki Yadav in February, her boyfriend Sahil hid the body in the fridge and got married the next day on 10 February. Police recovered Nikki’s body from her dhaba outside Mitraun village. After living in a live-in relationship, Nikki was pressurizing Sahil for marriage. In anger he killed her.
Meerut’s ‘Blue Drum Massacre’: Wife and lover murdered together
The ‘Blue Drum’ murder case of Meerut had shaken the whole of India. On 18 March 2025, the body of Merchant Navy officer Saurabh Rajput was recovered from a blue drum. In the month of July, a heart-wrenching case came to light in Goregaon, Mumbai, where the wife’s infidelity became the reason for the husband’s death. 35 year old Rajshree Ahire was having a dispute with her husband Bharat Ahire for a long time and during this time she fell in love with a young man named Chandrashekhar. Instead of taking the injured Bharat to the hospital, Rajshree brought him home and left him to suffer without treatment for three days.
