Generally people also call these flowers as Tesu flowers. These flowers are considered very beneficial for our health. In Ayurveda also these flowers are known as a medicinal flower. These pink flowers, especially found in the summer season, are very beneficial for our health. Antimicrobial and antioxidant properties are found in Palash, which is used to treat liver, diarrhea and other diseases. Palash plant is beneficial in many diseases including fever, skin diseases, cirrhosis, diabetes, urinary retention, preventing conception and improving eyesight. Apart from this, it is very effective in preventing stomach worms, wound healing and skin diseases as well as many serious diseases that occur in women.

In case of stomach worms, take Palash i.e. Tesu flower after making its powder, grind its leaves and bark and apply it on the wound. If diabetic patients consume the juice of its leaves, they will get relief from it. Making a paste of its flowers and applying it on the skin relieves the problem of itching and dryness.
