Make in India Success Story: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized on Independent Model, Developed India 2047 resolve and 8 years of progress of UP. Mentioned historical changes in agriculture, education, health, infrastructure and investment.
Independence Day 2025: In the 79th year of independence, the area from Hazratganj to Vidhan Bhavan in the capital Lucknow was drenched in the color of the tricolor. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hoisted the flag in front of Vidhan Bhavan amidst the waving flags, chopper -raining flowers and patriotic songs. On this occasion, he not only remembered the history of freedom, but also drawn the blueprint of the future – of a self -sufficient, developed and indigenous India.
Why is the emphasis on ‘indigenous model’?
CM Yogi said that India’s strength is in its indigenous model, which gave the country a new identity on the global stage through Make in India. Giving the example of recent ‘Operation Sindoor’, he explained how BrahMos missile and indigenous drone in Lucknow defeated enemies and proved India’s technical capacity.

What is the real meaning of freedom?
According to Yogi Adityanath, freedom means dedication to duties, not freedom. He reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve to develop India till 2047 and said that this is possible only when every citizen fulfills their obligations honestly.
UP’s 8 -year development journey
CM also presented an eight-year account from the stage. They told that
- UP’s GSDP increased from 13 lakh crores to 32 lakh crore rupees.
- The per capita income increased from Rs 43,000 to Rs 1.20 lakh.
- A proposal of Rs 45 lakh crore was received in the field of investment with a riot-free and safe environment, out of which 15 lakh crore landed at the ground level.
Employment and youth, initiative for agriculture and farmers
In the last eight years, 8.30 lakh youth got government jobs and 1.62 crore youth got employment in the MSME sector. Under the CM Yuva Udyami Yojana, self -employment opportunities were increased by giving interest free loan to the youth. CM Yogi said that sugarcane payment of Rs 2.86 lakh crore was made in the last eight years. Schemes like coarse grain cultivation, free tubewell connection and farmer welfare insurance are bringing changes in the lives of farmers.
