From Amitabh-Shahrukh to Deepika-Ranveer, know who attended Dharmendra’s funeral?

Veteran actor Dharmendra passed away on November 24 at the age of 89 after a prolonged illness. Many celebrities from the film industry attended his funeral in Mumbai and paid tribute to him.

Mumbai: As soon as the news of Dharmendra’s demise broke on Monday, celebrities from the film industry reached Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle, where the last rites of the Bollywood legend were performed. Actors Shah Rukh Khan, Govinda, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were seen arriving at the cremation ground to console the Deol family.


Amitabh Bachchan, Saira Banu, Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Salim Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Zayed Khan, Rajkumar Santoshi, Anil Sharma, Salman Khan, Siddharth Roy Kapur and many others also paid their last tribute.

The ‘He-Man’ of Indian cinema was ill for some time. On November 10, Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai after his health deteriorated. After 2 days, the family opted for home treatment, following which he was discharged from the hospital. Sadly, he breathed his last on November 24 at the age of 89. Dharmendra is survived by his first wife Prakash Kaur; his second wife, actress Hema Malini; and has six children, including sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol from his first marriage, and daughters Vijeta and Ajita, as well as daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol from his second marriage.
