Country becomes stronger due to Digital India
The Union Minister said that India has emerged as a powerful digital information network today. India has joined the leading countries of the world in terms of digital transactions. From government services to the everyday life of the common citizen, technology has made the work faster and transparent.
Historic changes in road, rail and metro
While sharing his experiences, he said that after seeing the National Highway in America in 1994, he never thought that such highways would be built in India too. But today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, world-class national highways, modern railway network and rapidly expanding metro system have become a reality in the country. This infrastructure is giving a new direction to India’s economic pace.
Strong step towards self-reliant India
India is emerging as self-reliant in sectors like defence, semiconductor, electric vehicle, advanced manufacturing and clean energy. The Union Minister said that now the aim is not only to meet domestic needs, but to compete strongly in the global market.
Youth is the biggest hope of the country
Yes. Describing youth as the biggest strength of the country, Kishan Reddy said that in the coming times, youth will take India to the category of developed nation in a short time. He also said that Britain, which once ruled India, is today lagging behind India in terms of economic growth.
Big change in mining and coal sector
The Union Minister said that before 2014, the coal and mining sector was struggling with corruption and scams. There was a lack of transparency and clear vision. But there have been major improvements in this sector in the last decade. From auction of coal blocks to professional approach, now the system has become more clean and competitive. So far, 133 coal blocks have been successfully auctioned and mineral exploration has increased by more than 200%.
Preparing for the Future: Technology and Sustainability
He said that the mining sector is now entering the next phase of technology, digitalization and data-driven decisions. India is using its vast mineral wealth in a sustainable, responsible and scientific manner. India is the second largest coal consumer in the world and the country is completely secure regarding its energy needs for the next 60 years.
