Faf du Plessis, who has played for four teams including RCB and Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League, will not be a part of the IPL 2026 auction. He confirmed through a post on social media that he will not participate in the mini auction to be held on December 16.
Leaving IPL, he has decided to play in Pakistan Super League (PSL 2026).
41-year-old Faf du Plessis issued a statement on social media and wrote, “After playing 14 years in the IPL, I have decided that I will not be a part of the auction this time. This is a big decision.” Du Plessis further said that it was his good fortune to play with different players in different teams.
