Dehradun: A forest fire has broken out in Malari village, an important border settlement located near the India-China border. The fire started in the civil area above the Bhujgarh drain and quickly spread across grazing land. Authorities are working to prevent the flames from reaching the nearby army camp.
According to Gaurav Negi, ranger of the Nanda Devi National Park, the fire was reported in the upper reaches of Malari village. Immediate action was taken to stop the fire from spreading further. Five members of the team, led by Forest Inspector Kuldeep Negi, are actively engaged in extinguishing the blaze.
