National Shooting Coach: Haryana Police has registered a case against the shooting coach. The coach is accused of rape. The female player with whom the coach has been accused of rape is a minor and a national level shooter. The female shooter was 17 years old at the time of the incident. According to the allegations, this incident took place in a hotel in Faridabad in December 2025. The coach is accused of calling the female shooter to the hotel on the pretext of performance review and forcibly taking her to the room.
National shooting coach accused of rape
According to the police, the incident took place on December 16, when the female athlete had participated in the national shooting competition in Delhi. The coach asked him to meet him in the hotel lobby of Surajkund, Faridabad. The coach told the female shooter that he would review her performance. After this, it is alleged that he called the female shooter into the room and sexually assaulted her. Not only this, when the female shooter refused him, he started threatening her to ruin her career and harm her family.
Case registered under POCSO Act
However, now on the basis of the complaint of the victim player, FIR has been registered in Faridabad Mahila Police Station, NIT Faridabad. In the FIR, the national level shooter has been considered a minor and a case has been registered against her under POCSO Act (Section 6) and Section 351(2) of BNS. Police are examining CCTV footage, statements of witnesses and other evidence from the hotel and surrounding areas.
