Strong connection being formed between farmers and industry
The government is also working on strengthening the supply chain between the agriculture sector and the food processing industry. With this, farmers will get better prices for their products and regular supply of raw materials to the industry will be ensured. This step will also strengthen the rural economy.
Government seeking suggestions from industry
Joshi said that the government is improving the policies by understanding the needs of the industry and wants the industry to share its suggestions, so that the upcoming PLI scheme can be made more effective.
