Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that better public facilities not only strengthens citizens and society but also make them responsible. In this direction, the state government is constantly taking steps. He informed that the cities of the state are being developed according to their effect and unique identity. In the development of cities, we are also taking care of the whole-dore and heritage. We are proceeding in a planned manner towards the construction of green and clean cities. For urban development, a complete ban on carbon emissions is a big task. Crossing all these challenges, they are moving forward on the goal of giving a clean environment to the citizens. Fly over bridge with metro train
- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that with the concept of metropolitan city region in big cities, metro train service and large flyover are being constructed in all major cities, so that public transport can be simplified and modernized. He said that the needs of the new generation of people are being met by constructing smart cities in the state. With all these efforts, new streams of development will flow in the urban areas of the state and the life of citizens will be made more pleasant and safe.
- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the schemes of urban development in Madhya Pradesh are being implemented better. Our Indore has been the cleanest city in the country for 8 consecutive years, our other major cities like Bhopal, Jabalpur, Ujjain and Gwalior have also emerged as excellent cities promoting digital su-ex-education, dynamics and Ease of Living.
Government will form 10 lakh affordable houses in MP
Construction of 8.56 lakh houses has been completed under affordable housing in the state, out of which about 7.75 lakh (82 percent) houses are in family women or joint names. We have set a target to construct about 10 lakh new houses, on which 50 thousand crores is likely to be invested. Amrit Yojana 2.0 includes all urban bodies. Under the scheme, out of 297 projects worth Rs 5869 crore in water supply, 224 projects worth Rs 3450 crore have been started. Out of 36 projects worth Rs 4932 crore of sewerage, 04 projects worth Rs 1312 crore have started, this will benefit about 60 percent of the urban population of the state. In view of the possible expansion of urban areas in the state, our government has also received ‘Madhya Pradesh Metropolitan Area Planning and Development Act, 2025’ from the Council of Ministers. Under the developed Madhya Pradesh-2047, the state’s 2 trillion economy is a target, in which the participation of urban areas will be important.
Metro train will run in Bhopal next month
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the work of metro train in Bhopal is going on fast. Metro has started operating in Indore. The metro is going to operate on a corridor in Bhopal in October 2025. Many such facilities will be developed before Simhastha-2028, from which devotees will be able to reach the places of reverence spent less energy easily and in a short time. A strong, responsible and emergency service mechanism is being established in the state to protect the life, health, property and environment of the general public. Our government has implemented a new EV policy in the direction of strengthening public transport and strengthening the system. In Madhya Pradesh through EV policy, adopting EV by public in Madhya Pradesh, benefiting buyers through subsidy and duty waiver is to promote the ecosystem of charging infrastructure, manufacturing and skill development.
Madhya Pradesh Fire and Emergency Services Act, 2025 “
- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that “Madhya Pradesh Fire and Emergency Services Act, 2025” is currently an important initiative in the context of a wide and consistent fire services to effectively deal with fire and emergency in the context of urbanization, industrialization and rapid growth in population density. We have prepared a plan for broader investment and participation in the private sector to make local bodies self -sufficient and increase their capacity, which is also needed today. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, all of us have to work together to establish India as a developed country, cooperation and participation of private investors with the efforts of the government is very important.
- Earlier, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav lit the lamp and inaugurated the summit. In the welcome address, Mr. Arpit Editor of the Media Group, Mr. Arpit Gupta said that the Madhya Pradesh government has taken concrete steps towards urban development, where people are getting opportunities to lead a better life. He said that the efforts of the Madhya Pradesh government towards the overall progress of the cities are commendable.
