Note the ingredients
You will need 1 cup flax seeds, one and a half cup jaggery (broken into small pieces), half cup peanuts, half cup almonds, half cup dry grated coconut, half cup white sesame, two teaspoons black sesame, one and a half cup makhana, 1 teaspoon green cardamom powder and 4 teaspoons desi ghee. Now know the method of making it.
How to make flaxseed laddus?
- First of all, dry roast the flax seeds and when it starts crackling, turn off the gas and let the seeds cool down.
- After roasting flax seeds, dry roast the makhana and take it out in a plate. Similarly, dry roast the sesame seeds until they become golden. Take it out in a plate and let it cool.
- Now dry roast the peanuts also, but keep the flame low until the rawness of the peanuts goes away. Remove all its peels.
- Now put the peanuts in a mortar and grind them coarsely. Similarly, break or cut almonds into small pieces. After that almonds have to be roasted in some desi ghee.

- Now put flaxseed in a grinder and grind it well and make powder. After this, put the Makhana in the grinder and grind it. Keep both things separate.
- Fry the flaxseed powder lightly so that the remaining rawness also gets removed. Add ground makhana, peanuts, almonds and green cardamom powder to it.
- Now heat some desi ghee in a pan, add jaggery to it and cook on low flame while stirring till it melts completely. As soon as the jaggery dissolves completely, turn off the gas.
- Now mix the prepared flaxseed mixture in the melted jaggery well and start making laddus by applying ghee on your hands only when it is still warm.
- If the mixture seems too dry, melt a little more jaggery and mix it in the beginning. Lastly, add desi ghee to the remaining dry mixture and tie the laddus.
