The actress revealed that she was also part of the sequence, even though the song prominently featured Sushmita Sen. Karisma spoke about the song during a special episode of ‘India’s Best Dancer Season 5’, where veteran music personalities Anu Malik and Kumar Sanu appeared as guests. The episode featured performances celebrating some of the most remembered songs from the 1990s and early 2000s.

According to Karisma, she was present in the sequence while Sushmita Sen performed the dance number. At the same time, Karisma’s character was involved in a completely different part of the story, as she was searching for Hrithik Roshan’s character.
Karisma described the situation as unusual because the song was unfolding with Sushmita dancing while her own character was looking for Hrithik in the middle of the sequence. She also recalled the setting, saying that she was searching for him amid the sand.
The actress said the experience felt strange to her at the time because the dramatic situation involving her character continued while the dance performance was taking place.
