Sylhet out of BPL 2026
Sylhet Titans lost to Rajshahi Warriors in the second qualifier match played in Mirpur. Batting first, Rajshahi scored 165 runs. In reply, Sylhet team could score only 153 runs and lost the match by 12 runs. The big thing is that Sylhet was out of the tournament with this defeat. Sylhet’s defeat was decided by Sri Lankan fast bowler Binura Fernando, who took 4 wickets for just 19 runs in 4 overs. Binura did not give a single run in 17 out of 24 balls and he dismissed Zakir Hasan, Ariful Islam in his first and second overs. He turned the entire match in the 18th over, when he took the wickets of Mehdi Hasan Miraj and Khalid Ahmed in the space of 3 balls.
