LPG vending machine is open in Central Park Flower Valley, Sector-33, Gurugram. This is the country’s first LPG ATM. This new feature can make the entire process of getting gas faster and easier.
According to the report of Times of India, LPG ATM is an automatic machine, where you can take your empty cylinder and get a filled cylinder within a few minutes. It is very easy to use this machine. The customer has to enter his mobile number and then verify through OTP. After this, payment is made through UPI or debit card by scanning the QR code. As soon as the payment is made, the machine issues a new cylinder within a few minutes.
24 hours available facility
The biggest feature of this machine is that it works 24×7. This means that now you will not have to depend on the timing of the gas agency. You can change the cylinder anytime as and when required. This can eliminate the problem of long lines and waiting to a great extent. In this LPG ATM, new composite cylinders are available instead of traditional iron cylinders. These cylinders are light and easy to lift. While the normal cylinder weighs around 30 kg, these new cylinders weigh around 15 kg. The special thing is that they are transparent, so that the level of gas remaining inside can be easily seen.
Smart monitoring of stock
About 10 cylinders can be kept in this machine at one time. As soon as the number of cylinders reduces to two, the system automatically sends information to the agency. This reduces the problem of running out of gas in the machine and the supply remains maintained.
India imports a large part of its LPG needs from abroad. The availability of gas has been affected due to recent global tensions and supply disruptions. In such a situation, a facility like LPG ATM can provide relief to people, especially when domestic use is being given priority. At present this is a pilot project, but if it is successful then in the coming time LPG ATMs can be installed in other cities of the country also. This can completely change the process of taking gas and people can get great convenience.
