Mumbai: In a moment steeped in emotion and cinematic grandeur, the first official glimpse of Thalapathy Vijay’s film “Jana Nayagan”, was unveiled at the stroke of midnight on the occasion of the superstar’s birthday.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker H. Vinoth, with a compelling score composed by Anirudh Ravichander, “Jan Nayagan” is being promotionally packaged as Vijay’s final film before his entry into politics.
The 65-second teaser starts with Vijay’s voice saying, “You guys will live in my heart.” A text flashes on the screen that reads, “A true leader rises not for power, but for people.” Together, the voiceover and the text presents a cinematic farewell and also signals his annointment into politics. For the non-versed, Vjay formed his political party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam in February last year.
