BEML Limited has announced its first-ever 1:2 stock split, marking a significant corporate action for investors. The company’s Board of Directors, in its meeting held on September 29, 2025, approved the subdivision of shares and fixed Monday, November 3, 2025, as the record date for the split.

According to the filing, BEML stated, ‘We wish to inform you that pursuant to Regulation 42 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, the Board of Directors of the Company passed the Resolution at the Board Meeting held on Monday, 29th September, 2025, and fixed the “Record Date” on Monday, 03rd November, 2025, for the purpose of the subdivision/split of the existing 1 (one) equity share of face value of Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten Only) each fully paid up into 2 (two) equity shares of face value of Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five Only) each fully paid up.’

BEML Q1 FY26 Results
BEML Ltd., the state-run public sector undertaking, reported a net loss of Rs. 64 crore in the June 2025 quarter (Q1FY26), compared to a loss of Rs. 70.5 crore in the same period last year. While analysts expected a narrower loss on the back of improved operating leverage, the company still posted an EBITDA loss of Rs. 49 crore. Revenue for the quarter remained flat at Rs. 634 crore, highlighting muted demand pressures. Despite the wider-than-anticipated loss, the results reflect a marginal improvement over last year’s performance.
