The shooting that took place just a short distance from the White House in Washington DC has shaken the entire America. Two National Guard soldiers are reported to be in critical condition after a sudden attack near the Farragut metro station. The firing has been blamed on Afghan citizen Rahmanullah Lakanwal, who came to America in 2021 under Operation Allies Welcome. The FBI has started investigating the incident as a possible terrorist attack. While President Donald Trump has called it a “terror attack” and has hinted at major steps on the entry of Afghan refugees.
