In its order, the Education Department wrote that this act is a serious violation of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (RTE Act, Section 17) and the instructions of the government. According to the JK Education Department, this conduct falls under the category of Gross Misconduct under Rule 3(1) of the Central Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964.
In such a situation, Deputy Director, Elementary Education (Shimla) has suspended Reena Rathore with immediate effect. At present, during the suspension, his headquarters will be Block Primary Education Office, Sarahan (Shimla). During this time, he will not be allowed to go out from there without prior permission. A copy of the order was sent to the Director, School Education Department, Shimla, Principal of GSSS Kutara and BEEO Rohru and Sarahan for information and further action.
