Female members of Regional Tibetan Women’s Association, Bharat Tibet Cooperation Forum tie rakhi to RSS chief

Nagpur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Saturday celebrated Raksha Bandhan with members of two Tibetan outfits at the Sangh’s headquarters in Nagpur. Sisters from the Regional Tibetan Women’s Association and the Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch tied rakhis to the RSS chief. Members of the Rashtra Sevika Samiti, residents of the Mahal area, and members of the group Disha 30 also participated, offering their blessings and good wishes.

Activists from the Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, the women’s wing of the RSS, also tied a rakhi to the Sarsanghchalak.

Meanwhile in the national capital, Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked the occasion at his residence, where school children and Brahma Kumaris tied rakhis on his wrist. Extending his greetings on X (formerly, Twitter) , the prime minister wished the nation a happy and auspicious Raksha Bandhan.
