Digital Harassment: A shocking case has come to light in Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana. Here, 76 -year -old doctor died due to cyber fraud and died of a heart attack. According to the police, on 5 September, the doctor received a video call on WhatsApp. The callers described themselves as the Bengaluru police officer and showed the police logo. He presented fake documents, which were fake on the Supreme Court, Enforcement Directorate and Reserve Bank. The thugs falsely accused the doctor of human trafficking and threatened to arrest him under the National Security Act.
Death died after being disturbed for 70 hours
Fearing this incident, the doctor sent Rs 6.6 lakh from his pension account to a shell company account of Maharashtra on 6 September. Even after this, the harassment of the thugs continued. He continued to receive video calls, fake court notices and threatening messages. The thugs repeatedly harassed him with another number. On September 8, after being troubled for 70 hours in a row, the doctor suffered a severe chest pain and fell. He was immediately taken to the clinic, but died there.

Claimed to apprehend the accused soon
Family members said that after performing the last rites, they came to know about this whole matter. The most surprising thing was that even after the death of the doctor, the thugs were sending threatening messages from him. Hyderabad Cybercrime Police has registered a case under the sections of the IT Act and the Indian Penal Code in this case. It also includes a section of non-Irradan homicide. The police is now investigating the phone record and bank transactions and claimed to catch the accused soon.
