In Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh, a loving couple has sought protection from the police. The loving couple reached the Superintendent of Police office with the order of the High Court and pleaded for the safety of their lives and family.
The loving couple has described themselves as a threat to their family members and the police. Actually, the matter is about the love affair of Pichhor resident Akanksha and Shivam.
The girl is afraid of her parents
Both of them studied together in college. There was a love affair between the two from that time onwards. On 5 February 2026, they ran away from home and got married in the temple with God as witness. After this both are living together as husband and wife. According to Akanksha, her parents are now trying to get her to come to them by putting illegal pressure on her through the police. Along with this, they also want to take false action against her husband Shivam Rathore and his family members.
accused of harassment
Premi Jugal, who came to SP office of Shivpuri, told that Pichor police is harassing me and my in-laws. Akanksha says that she and her family fear that my family may cause some untoward incident to happen to her and her in-laws. Due to this, Akanksha had filed a writ petition in the Gwalior Division of the High Court, keeping in mind the safety of her family. On which the court ordered Shivpuri police to provide security to Akanksha and her family. With this order, the victim reached the SP office to seek protection.
Will remain in live in relationship till marriage certificate is made.
The newly married couple has given an affidavit in the office of the Superintendent of Police. It is mentioned in the said affidavit that at present we do not have any marriage certificate. We have applied to the administration to obtain a marriage certificate. It is also mentioned in the affidavit that until the marriage certificate is prepared, it will be considered a live-in relationship.
