FASTag Annual Pass From August 15: The FASTag annual pass was announced by the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, on June 18, 2025. The FAStag annual pass will be launched on August 15, and it will work on the national highways and expressways operated by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) only. Here we are sharing all the details regarding the charges, validity, and application process of the FASTag annual pass.

FASTag Annual Pass: Charges And Validity

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has been working rapidly on reducing the congestion at the toll booths, and the FASTag annual pass was announced to provide a hassle-free movement of private vehicles on the national highways. Users can avail of the annual pass for a fee of Rs 3000, and it will remain valid for a year or 200 trips, whichever comes first.

FASTag Annual Pass: How To Apply?

Users can apply for the FASTag annual pass using the Rajmarg Yatra App or the official website of NHAI. A Person can pre-book the annual pass using the link available on the app or the website, and payment can be made through UPI, debit card, or credit card, using the same link. The FASTag annual pass will get activated within 2-3 hours after the payment is made.

FASTag Annual Pass: Availability

As informed earlier, the FASTag annual pass will only be available on the national highways and expressways operated by NHAI. It should be noted that the FASTag annual pass wouldn’t work on the Yamuna Expressway, Meerut Expressway, and the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, as these three e-ways are operated by the state governments of Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. The FASTag Annual Pass will only be issued to private non-commercial vehicles, and it is non-transferable. The FASTag Annual Pass will get deactivated instantly if used by any commercial vehicle.
