California: After the iPhone 17 series, the tech giant Apple is now preparing to launch its next generation, i.e. iPhone 18 series of smartphones. It is expected that Apple can introduce iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models in the global market in September 2026. Although Apple has not yet officially confirmed the features, several inside reports and leaks have provided some hints about these new Pro models.
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max
If reports are to be believed, there will be no major change in the display size of iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The iPhone 18 Pro may have a 6.3-inch screen and the Pro Max may have a 6.9-inch panel. However, more brightness is expected in the front design. It is not yet clear whether the dynamic island will be removed completely or it will be further reduced. Nevertheless, it is believed that the look of the new iPhone series will be cleaner than the previous models.
Talking about the processor, Apple can introduce the new A20 Pro chipset in iPhone 18 Pro models. It will be based on TSMC’s 2-nanometer manufacturing technology. This chip is being designed in a new way, in which RAM, CPU, GPU and neural engine will be on the same wafer. This is expected to significantly improve speed, power efficiency and heat management. Initial data shows that the performance of these phones can increase by 15% compared to the previous generation and they can save up to 30% power.
Will there be a battery upgrade in the iPhone 18 Pro series?
Another report claims that Apple is paying special attention to the battery of the new iPhone series. According to reports, the iPhone Pro Max model can get a larger battery with higher capacity, which can be between 5,100mAh to 5,200mAh. The better chipset and larger battery are expected to combine to deliver longer battery life and better on-device AI performance.
At present, no information has been revealed about the price of the new iPhone series. However, market experts believe that given the high prices of the existing iPhone 17 Pro models in India, Apple probably will not increase the prices of the iPhone 18 Pro models by a huge amount.
