Police said on Saturday that all three accused live in the same area where the victim’s family lives. This makes the matter even more serious, because trust and recognition were misused. According to Hubli-Dharwad Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar, all three accused are minors. Two of them study in high school, while one boy has dropped out of school. At present all three have been taken into custody and are being interrogated.
