Prabhas and Hanu Raghavapudi’s “Fauji” has faced multiple release delays, with its latest December 3 release date now postponed indefinitely. The makers are reportedly in no hurry to announce a new date, as the shooting is yet to be completed.
According to our sources, the producers do not want to announce a new release date until the shooting is completed. A substantial portion of the film is still pending, and insiders say Prabhas needs to allot more than 60 working days for the shoot.
Considering his commitments to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Spirit” as well, completing those 60 working days could take another four months. Hence, the production house currently does not have clarity on when “Fauji” will be completed.
Insiders also say that the makers are unlikely to announce a new release date on October 23, Prabhas’ birthday. A new poster or some other promotional material is expected to be released on the occasion, but the makers are likely to avoid mentioning the release date.
The film stars Imanvi as the female lead, marking her debut.
