A shocking case has come to light in Ramganjmandi town. The police arrested 55 -year -old retired army and BJP worker Om Prakash Meghwal for attempting to rape her daughter -in -law.
She is also the husband of the head of the Khairabad Panchayat Samiti.
According to the police, the victim is a 22 -year -old woman, whose husband is preparing for competitive examinations in Jaipur. The woman alleged in the complaint that her father -in -law used to monitor her several times while taking a bath. One night he tried forcibly coming near and rape. When he made noise, he retreated.

The incident was reported on August 2 after a woman’s complaint. The woman returned to her maternal home after the incident. He alleged that the family had submitted a memorandum to the SDM demanding arrest, but no action was taken.
Police arrested accused
On Tuesday, the woman and her family staged a sit -in outside the SDM office. Circle Inspector Manoj Singh Sikarwal said that the accused was arrested after getting evidence in the investigation after the case was registered.
