On Farmers Honor Day, CM Yogi Adityanath handed over the keys of tractors to the farmers on the 123rd birth anniversary of Chaudhary Charan Singh and dispatched 25 tractors. Various crops, women farmers, FPOs and agricultural scientists were honored with awards.
Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday participated in the ‘Kisan Samman Diwas’ program organized on the 123rd birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Chaudhary Charan Singh. On this occasion, he honored the farmers and gave the message of empowering the agriculture sector.
CM Yogi handed over tractor keys to farmers
On the occasion of Farmers Honor Day, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath handed over the keys of tractors to five farmers. Along with this, he flagged off 25 tractors, so that farmers can be connected with modern agricultural resources.
These farmers got the keys of the tractor
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave the keys of tractors to the following farmers-
- inlet of jalaun
- Shahjahanpur to Udham Singh
- Fatehpur to Mukesh
- Muzaffarnagar to Shripal
- Lakhimpur Kheri to Jamaif Khan
Farmers performing excellently in various crops honored
During the program, awards were given to the farmers who had excellent production in various crops.
- Kamalnath: Paddy production
- Bijendra Kumar Singh: Wheat Production
- Ashish Tiwari: Gram Production
- Ramkishun: Pea Production
- Hiralal: Mustard production
- Randhir Singh: Pigeon pea production
- Amresh Kumar: Sorghum Production
All these farmers were given Rs 1 lakh, citations and body clothes.
Distinguished female farmer and FPO received honour.
Women farmers and FPOs were also honored in the program-
- Distinguished Female Farmer Award: Sandhya Singh (75 thousand rupees, blouse and citation)
- FPO Award: Vikas Kumar Singh, Jaya Seeds Company Limited, Varanasi (Rs. One Lakh, Citation and Angavastra)
- Kuldeep Mishra (Gonda): Honored as the FPO supplying maximum seeds in Seed Development Corporation.
Horticulture and agricultural scientist also received award
Those who contributed in the field of agricultural innovation and research were also honored-
- Horticulture Award: Vikas Kumar Singh (Rs 1 lakh, citation and armband)
- Agricultural Scientist Award: Dr. Dheeraj Kumar Tiwari, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Unnao
Farmer’s Honor Day celebrated with resolve for farmers’ welfare
Through Kisan Samman Diwas, Yogi government reiterated its resolve to carry forward the farmer-friendly ideas of Chaudhary Charan Singh. The objective of the government is to increase the income of farmers, provide modern resources and make agriculture self-reliant.
