New Delhi: After India lost the Kolkata Test against South Africa, they were expected to bounce back in Guwahati, but that didn’t happen. Shubman Gill was ruled out of the Test after suffering a neck spasm, which, as per reports, is more serious than it first appeared. In his absence, the Men in Blue were expected to pick Sarfaraz Khan for the No.4 spot, but he was left out and Dhruv Jurel was chosen instead.
Jurel failed to make an impact, falling for a duck after attempting a pull shot with little conviction or footwork, gifting his wicket without any real resistance. Fans have now flooded social media with reactions, questioning Gautam Gambhir’s decision to pick Jurel over Sarfaraz.

Can Kuldeep-Washington fight back?
